When You're Right, You're Right Review

Here's my review for "When You're Right, You're Right"
  • I enjoyed Barrett much better here than on Game for a Mystery.
  • Matthew sounded more mature on here than he was in The Inspiration Station.
  • Barrett was more mature too.
  • I enjoyed Emily's Dad on here maybe more than in Clutter.
  • I like Matthew's "It sounded good in theory" thing.  He will say this again in Target of the Week.  (Has that episode aired yet?)
  • I like hearing about Matthew's technical knowledge.
  • Emily's birthday card was really weird.
  • I have mixed feelings about Jay Smouse in this episode.
I'll give this episode 41/2 stars

#52 hints from Brock Eastman

OK, it seems that my last post was not very accurate.  The information was actually an April Fool's Joke by Brock Eastman over at Focus on the Family.  I know I was behind on things.  Oh well...

In Odyssey news, the Odyssey Way posted yesterday with some hints to #52.  Here's what it said:

Hi everybody, on Brock Eastman's blog, he said this about the actor who plays Coach Fang: ". . .I got to sit in on my very first recording session. While done from Focus on the Family offices in Colorado Springs, Nathan Hoobler directed Matt Yang King who plays Coach Fang in an upcoming episode for album #52 called ##########. The episode discusses ############# and focuses on The Odyssey ###### ###### ########## ####. We get to see #### ######## again. You may remember him as the ##### of ########." You can read the rest here. Since Brock Eastman probably was dropping some hints (when does he not?), he said "in an upcoming episode for album #52 called ##########." The name of an episode from Album #52 will most likely be one word and have 10 letters. What has ten letters and is one word? "Clock-tower"

Hmmm...

One more thing: The Odyssey Scoop has some videos on YouTube  now.  Check out the channel here.

#52 Summaries?

OK, I'm sorry if this is not news to everyone, but I was just on an Odyssey fan blog, and I saw these #52 titles and summaries.

  • Now is the Time Parts 1 & 2--Eugene is making repairs on the town clocktower, when he discovers a mechanism set to shut down the clocktower at an upcoming deadline. Together with Whit, he follows clues carved into the inner clocktower to solve the mystery.

  • Ghost in the Schoolyard--Strange things are happening at Odyssey Middle School: things disappearing or moving right in front of people's eyes, doors mysteriously being opened or closed, then Emily Jones discovers a plot to thwart the upcoming school talent show. Sounds like a job for The Jones & Parker Detective Agency!

  • Think Fast!--The gang at Whit's End decides to begin practicing the Biblical discipline of fasting. Soon, the kids want to join in, and Whit nearly runs out of customers. Wooton is suffering, but for Eugene, it's a breeze. Everyone learns a valuable lesson about what it truly means to fast.

  • All for One--Wooton starts his own radio show, yet to be named. He starts out by having callers decide the topics. But it turns to disaster when people start asking questions, about Wooton! Will Wooton share deep, dark secrets with the people of Odyssey?

  • That Time of Year--It's Christmastime in Odyssey, and the Parker kids want to get something special for their parents. They work together with Whit on the surprise, but Whit doesn't know that Connie and Wooton are working to surprise him! But everything is up in the air when Eugene, who knows nothing of either plot, walks into Whit's End at the wrong time!
So could someone please tell me why nobody has posted about this?  I didn't hear anything about it on the Odyssey Scoop, AIO Blog, or AIO Wiki.

My mom just gave me the link to the coolest online commerce site.  If you are a pastor or missionary you can get new Odyssey CD albums for $13!  Heres the link.  Go now for more details.

Ceiling Fan Podcast Website Re-Design

The Ceiling Fan Podcast has an awesome new re-design.  Plus they have their newest podcast up.  Here's the summary:

When reporter John Watsenburger's absence upsets the normal work routine, Tom Artichoke's investigation leads him to a place of wonder, discovery, and new inventions that may be the culprit. Also, Special Detective Intern James is hot on the trail to find out about the top secret e-mail in Ethan's inbox. Will he be able to execute his ultimate plan?

After you listen to the Ceiling Fan Podcast, go over to the Odyssey Blog and hear Austin and Natasha's latest Blogcast.

Meanwhile, I'm going to add some new widgets to the blog and possibly do some changes.

The Odyssey Scoop revealed, today, what they have been working on for a couple of weeks.  A clue: There's a lot of audio involved.  Head on over to the site right now.

In other news I've added to my Odyssey collection with another Passages book, #27, the Wishy Woz CD, and a Last Chance Detective Book.  I got some great prices on them at the Homeschool Convention in Cincinatti Ohio.

My mom went to sessions all day, while we got to walk around and look at the booths, (They had a whole booth for Lamplighter!)  read, and listen to my mp3 player.  Then that night we got to see Tim Hawkins live.  He's hilarious!
